Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in a recent speech called upon all the people to strengthen unity to cope with the moves of the dishonest forces.

The dishonest forces are now trying to destroy the economic and social achievements the country has attained in the past few years while obstructing the work to carry out the popular policy of the government, he said, calling upon the people from all walks of life to resolutely deal with them with the might of unity.

All the inhabitants should turn out as one in the struggle to defend the country and build a powerful state, he declared.
