Beijing, September 4 (KCNA) -- Shaanxi Province, China is pushing forward the farmland irrigation construction.

The construction of new irrigation facilities and projects to introduce technology of saving water are now under way according to plans.

If the projects are completed, the area under irrigation will increase by 9.1 million mu by 2015.
