Beijing, September 3 (KCNA) -- Philippine President Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino visited China from August 30 to September 3.

He had talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao and separately had conversations with Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress and Wen Jiabao, premier of the State Council.

At the talks and conversations views were exchanged on the development of the bilateral relations and regional and international issues of mutual concern.

A joint statement between the two countries was announced and a series of documents on cooperation were adopted.
