Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- The U.S. forces are ceaselessly suffering casualties in Afghanistan from the operations by its resistance forces.

As of August 30, 2011, at least 1 640 members of the U.S. military had died in Afghanistan as a result of the U.S.-led invasion of Afghanistan in late 2001, according to the Defense Department tally.
