Natural Disasters in U.S., India

Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- Strong hurricane hit eastern area of the U.S., causing damage.

It left 25 people dead and over 4.5 million inhabitants without electricity supply as of August 29.

It also left many houses and public buildings destroyed and traffic paralyzed.

Economic losses caused by the hurricane are estimated to be 14 billion U.S. dollars.

Several days of heavy rains that hit Mumbai City, India caused big damage.

They left three dead, many dwelling houses inundated, classes suspended and put train operation to suspension as of August 29.
