Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Thursday sent a message of greeting to Islam Karimov, president of Uzbekistan, on the occasion of its national day.

Kim in the message wished the president success in his work for the prosperity of the country and well-being of the people.
