Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries on August 24 and 25 on the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership.

A meeting was held in Bangladesh, lecture, photo exhibition and film show in Iran and lecture in Tanzania.

On display at the photo exhibition hall were photos on his Songun leadership feats.

Korean film "Reply of Korea" was shown on the occasion.

Present at the events were personages of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh People's League, the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee, the Iran-Korea Friendship Magsal Agro-Stock Farm and the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of the Dar-Es-Salaam Friendship Textile Mill and masses.

The chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the president of the Bangladesh People's League, the secretary general of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee and other speakers said that the DPRK is demonstrating its dignity and might as a political, ideological and military power which no formidable enemy dares provoke under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.

They expressed the conviction that the DPRK's cause of building a thriving nation and reunifying the country is sure to be achieved without fail as there are the army and people rallied close around their leader.
