Efforts to Prevent HIV/AIDS in Zambia

Pyongyang, August 30 (KCNA) -- Zambia mapped out a new plan to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS recently.

According to the plan, the government of the country is to purchase and supply medicines needed for about 410 000 AIDs cases in 2 years.

The government will scale up access to treatment by creating 68 new antiretroviral therapy sites and supplying drugs to all 454 existing ART sites throughout the country.
