Tehran, August 28 (KCNA) -- Iran is stepping up the preparations for operating the Bushehr Atomic Power Plant.

The president of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said on August 24 that the test of operating a turbine of reactor of the plant was successful.

The preparations for its first operation are under way at their final stage.
