Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- All the Korean people are offering warm congratulations to General Secretary Kim Jong Il on his returning home after successfully winding up his historic Russia and China visit.

Ri Chol Ung, an officer of the Korean People's Army, told KCNA that he was deeply moved by the long journey of the Siberian and Far East regions of Russia and northeast China leader Kim Jong Il made to develop the DPRK-Russia and DPRK-China friendship and promote the world peace and the cause of human independence.

There is no such great man in the world as our leader who has performed tremendous feats for the country and the nation through energetic foreign activities, attracting worldwide admiration, he said.

Kwon Yong Chol, member of the Tanchon Port Construction Shock Brigade under the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport, said, "Since I heard the leader launched a foreign visit, I have tried to do much work, missing him. I hope our achievements would help him relieve his fatigue from his long journey".

A poet, Ro Son Nam, said:

During the leader's foreign visit, the Korean people had striven hard to make great achievements in their work to delight him.
