Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- Foreign media carried special write-ups and aired special programs from August 21 to 23 on the 51st anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership.

The Indonesian paper Journal National carried an article titled "Kim Jong Il and Songun politics". He has led the army and people to victory by dint of his unique Songun politics, the article said.

The Songun politics is the most effective political mode guaranteeing the victorious advance of the socialist cause and the cause of independence, it stressed.

It is thanks to the Songun politics that the peace and stability have been guaranteed in the Korean Peninsula and the region and the international position and authority of the DPRK have remarkably risen, it noted.

The Syrian paper Al Baath said that the world-startling changes are taking place in all fields including the economy of the DPRK under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.

Citta Aperta broadcasting service of Italy said the vitality of his Songun politics is being fully demonstrated day by day under the present international situation and the Korean people's cause of building a thriving nation is sure to be accomplished thanks to the Songun politics.

FM 90.5 Radio of Cambodia introduced his Songun leadership feats. All the victories won by the Korean people in accomplishing the socialist cause are the inevitable historic results yielded by the Songun politics, it added.
