Rason Has Favorable Investment Conditions: Chinese Businessman

Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- Mineral resources abundant in the DPRK and its Government's policy of treating foreign investors preferentially provide Chinese businessmen with good conditions for investment, said the secretary of the Chinese Market Society.

Ai Jiakai, who is taking part in the 1st Rason International Trade Fair opened Monday, told KCNA:

The DPRK and China have favorable conditions for invigorating bilateral economic exchange and trade.

The DPRK Government explained to Chinese businessmen favorable conditions for investment in the Rason economic and trade zone and Hwanggumphyong and Wihwa islets.

With rich resources and good workforce, the DPRK is pursuing a policy of treating foreign investors preferentially. Any Chinese businessmen, if they are far-sighted, will never miss opportunities for investment in this zone.

We are greatly interested in the economic development of this zone.

We are pleased to join in this exhibition. I sincerely wish the exhibition a great success.

I will widely introduce to Chinese businesses and businessmen the investment conditions of the zone and the prospect of Korea's economic development.
