Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, Saturday sent a reply message to Aleksandr Lukashenko, president of Belarus.

The message said:

I express thanks to you for your message of sympathy sent in connection with the floods that hit some parts of the DPRK, causing damage.
