Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- The deputy spokesman for the Democratic Labor Party of south Korea made a comment Tuesday as regards the Seoul High Court's decision on military judicial officers who protested the regulation on "seditious books" made by the Ministry of Defense.

The comment said that the court decided to withdraw their punishment of dismissal but sustained the first trial judgment that they defamed the military and violated political neutrality.

By the "seditious books" the Ministry of Defense means popular books, including contemporary history textbooks, according to the comment.

It is abnormal that import of such books is prohibited as they are considered "seditious" only in the military, and it is anachronistic to term the protest against the regulation illegal, said the comment.

The comment urged the court to pass a decision of guiltlessness upon the officers.
