Japan's Claim to Tok Islets Termed Daydream

Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- The Japanese government in its "defense white paper for 2011", the second one since the emergence of the Democratic Party, said that "the issue of Takeshima, territory belonging to Japan, still remains outstanding."

Rodong Sinmun Friday says this in a bylined commentary.

This indicates that Japan's attempt to secure "dominium over Tok Islets" remains same both under the rule of the Liberal Democratic Party and the Democratic Party, the commentary notes.

Citing facts to prove the reckless moves of the Japanese militarists persistently claiming to the islets, the commentary says:

Only the Japanese reactionaries steeped in the ambition for reinvasion to the marrow of their bones can make such a nonsensical talk that other's inviolable territory belongs to Japan.

What Japan seeks through the claim to Tok Islets is to build up public opinion over the issue, internationalize it and spark off disputes over the islets and thus create a condition and pretext for the reinvasion of Korea.

Japan's real intention is to stage a comeback to Korea with the seizure of the islets as an occasion. Herein lie the aggressive nature of Japan's moves to grab the islets and their danger and gravity.

Its ambition to take Tok Islets is a daydream. The Japanese reactionaries should not give its eye-teeth for the islets.
