Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- The Syrian ambassador at the UN in a recent letter to the secretary general of the UN General Assembly strongly blasted Israeli illegal act.

The Israeli occupation authorities have begun the construction of a racist separation fence on the occupied Syrian-Golan, the letter recalled, branding it as the continuation of an aggressive Israeli policy against the citizens of the Golan.

Such moves of Israel will bring greater sufferings to the inhabitants on the Golan Heights and aggravate the regional situation, the letter noted.
