Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- Koreans in Uzbekistan held an event on August 15, the 66th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

Present there were members of the Koreans' organizations and Koreans in Uzbekistan and the charge d' affaires ad interim and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Tashkent.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the full-length figure portrait of President Kim Il Sung standing together with leader Kim Jong Il at the embassy and paid tribute to them.
