Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- Foreign guests and overseas Koreans visited the Kumsusan Memorial Palace on Thursday to pay tribute to President Kim Il Sung.

They included the Defence Ministry delegation of Vietnam headed by Deputy Minister Lieut. General Nguyen Chi Vinh and the delegation of the educational officials of the General Association of Koreans Residents in Japan (Chongryon) led by O Haeng Dok, section chief of the Education Department of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon.

They made entries in the visitor's book.

The head of the Vietnamese delegation wrote in the book:

Kim Il Sung and President Ho Chi Minh provided the traditional relations of friendship between the two countries. I am convinced that the army and the people of the DPRK will achieve the cause of building a thriving nation as desired by Kim Il Sung under the wise leadership of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il.
