Tehran, August 16 (KCNA) -- Many Iranian students staged a protest in Tehran on Sunday against the British police's harsh crackdown on demonstrators.

They gathered in front of the UK embassy to condemn the brutality and urge the British police to stop use of violence against demonstrators.
