Beijing, August 16 (KCNA) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao Friday called for expanding cooperation with Bolivia.

At a meeting with the visiting Bolivian President Ebo Morales in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, Hu said bilateral friendly and cooperative relations have steadily developed thanks to joint efforts of the two countries.

China is ready to continue joint efforts with Bolivia for all-round cooperation and happiness of the two countries' people, he added.

The Bolivian president visited Shenzhen to participate in the opening ceremony of the 26th Universiad.
