Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) -- The Socialist Party of Benin-Baanitee made public a statement on August 10 on the 51st anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of his Songun revolutionary leadership.

The statement said that his Songun revolutionary leadership made it possible for socialist Korea to steadily advance, winning one victory after another, adding that the Korean People's Army could grow to be invincible armed forces thanks to the Songun revolutionary leadership.

It was thanks to the Songun politics that the Korean people could protect the independent dignity and lay a foundation for achieving the reunification of the country, it noted.

Recalling that various countries and nations are subject to humiliation and trampled down by foreign aggressor forces as they are not strong in their defence capabilities, the statement stressed that the reality in the world today goes to prove that the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il is the best in the world.

The statement extended firm support and solidarity to the Korean people dynamically promoting the cause of building a prosperous and powerful state under the uplifted banner of Songun, united close around Kim Jong Il.
