Tehran, August 7 (KCNA) -- The Iranian parliament Wednesday appointed an Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) official as the oil minister.

The appointment of the official, who is on the list of the U.S. and European sanctions, is a blow to the West, said an IRGC commander.
