Chinese Seamen Enjoy Performance by Song and Dance Ensemble of KPA Navy

Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Seamen of the flotilla of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army enjoyed a performance given by the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Navy of the Korean People's Army at Kalma Theatre on Saturday.

Among the audience were leading officers and other seamen of the flotilla headed by Vice Admiral Tian Zhong, commander of the North Sea Fleet of the CPLA Navy, and the military attache of the Chinese embassy here.

KPA Admiral Jong Myong Do, commander of the KPA Navy, Pak Jae Gyong, vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, KPA Rear Admiral Kim Myong Sik and general officers and officers, Yom Pong Jin, chief secretary of the Wonsan City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Il Sop, chairman of the Wonsan City People's Committee, enjoyed the performance together with the guests.

Put on the stage were mixed choruses "Hoist Flag of Supreme Commander" and "My Ship Is Dear Homeland", tap dance "Morning in Sailing" and dance "Death-defying Corps on Sea" and other numbers.

In their performance they enthusiastically sang of the militant stamina of the seamen of the KPA which has grown to be an invincible army under Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il.

The performers also presented Chinese songs to please the guests.

The performance was acclaimed by the audience.
