Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- An international peace seminar was held in Hiroshima, Japan on July 31 on the theme "Road to termination of nuclear weapons -- what is civic society asking now?"

The seminar discussed methods of eliminating nuclear weapons with the accident of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station taken into account.

It also called for making this year, which witnessed the accident, an important occasion for nuclear disarmament.
