Kim Il Sung's Feats Praised by Indian Paper

Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- The Indian paper Public News on August 1 carried an article headlined "May United Front Tower Stand Forever" on the 14th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's work "Let Us Carry Out the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification".

The tower, which was erected at the place where President Kim Il Sung spent a significant day while having a consultative meeting with south Korean politicians who participated in the North-South Joint Conference, a nationwide meeting to check the permanent division of Korea on May 2, 1948, always conveys the history of great national unity, the paper said, and went on:

The consultative meeting on Ssuk Islet held that day was a significant meeting which taught the truth that there can be factions and isms only when there are the country and nation. It was, at the same time, a historic meeting which demonstrated that if personages sit at the same place in the idea of patriotism irrespective of political view and religious belief and have an open-hearted discussion, they can form a united front and contribute to the cause of reunification.

Completely attracted by the transparent patriotic idea, outstanding stratagem, broad magnanimity and noble personality of the President, south Korean politicians praised him as the supreme leader of the nation and entirely entrusted the destiny of the nation and their own to him. Afterwards, they dedicated their lives to the cause of alliance with communism and national reunification.

The feats the President performed for achieving the unity of the Korean nation and the reunification of Korea will always remain shining along with the United Front Tower.
