British Company Denounces S. Korea for Unreasonable Decision

Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities cut off access to the Internet homepage of the Koryo Tours Company, according to VOA.

The travel company, established by a British in Beijing, has introduced tourist souvenirs, photos, books and films of the DPRK to western Europeans since 1993.

The company announced on August 1 that its website has been filtered by the south Korean "government" from the outset of this year.

The south Korean intelligence service applied the "Security Law" to the website, describing some of its contents as for pro-DPRK propaganda purpose.

As a result, south Korean people have been denied access to "www.koryogroup.com" or "www.koryotours.com" from the beginning of the year.

The company said it had sought to promote understanding between the DPRK and outside world, and termed the decision of the south Korean "government" unreasonable.
