Chinese Seamen Visit Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery, Friendship Tower

Pyongyang, August 5 (KCNA) -- Commanding officers of the visiting flotilla of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army headed by Vice Admiral Tian Zhong, commander of the North Sea Fleet of the Navy, visited the Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery on Mt. Taesong and the Friendship Tower on Friday.

They laid bouquets before the bust of Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese war hero, at the cemetery.

They placed a wreath at the cemetery and paid a silent tribute to the memory of the revolutionary martyrs.

Then they went to the Friendship Tower to lay a wreath and observe a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers who bravely fought in the Korean War.
