Moscow, August 1 (KCNA) -- Russian President Dmitri Medvedev Sunday congratulated the country's sailors and war veterans on the Russian Navy Day.

Addressing a celebration, he said the navy is an inseparable, reliable part of national defense.

The sailors' will to ensure the security of the country makes Russia steadily advance forward and successfully develop, he added.
