S. Korean Authorities' Confrontation with Compatriots Flayed

Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- South Korea's recent evermore undisguised moves to escalate the confrontation with the DPRK are a revelation of deep rooted hostility toward compatriots, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a bylined article.

The confrontation with compatriots is a means of existence inherent to the group of traitors forsaken by the nation and its inveterate bad habit, the article says, and goes on:

The present south Korean ruling forces are committing high treason putting all crimes perpetrated by the preceding forces against the country's reunification into the shade.

The south Korean conservative group's madcap confrontation with compatriots betrays its sinister intention to justify and stick to the already bankrupt "policy toward the north".

It is the trite method of the south Korean ruling forces to escalate the confrontation and tension between the north and the south to an extreme pitch whenever they find themselves in a crisis and thus divert the public attention elsewhere.

With no gimmick, however, can they justify their policy of confrontation or escape their miserable fate.

When looking back on history, the policy pursued quite contrary to the trend of the times and the public mind-set is bound to go bust and those dictators who put it into force could not get rid of the graveyard of history, cursed and denounced by the people. The fate of the present south Korean ruling forces cannot be otherwise.
