Pyongyang, August 2 (KCNA) -- Seminars were held in France and Britain on July 23 to mark the 58th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Jean Marie Lambret, chief of the French Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Idea, said in his report that President Kim Il Sung, ever-victorious and iron-willed commander and gifted strategist, defeated the U.S. imperialists with the politico-ideological advantages of the army and people based on the original Songun idea.

His military idea is an original man-centered idea that makes it possible to settle all the issues arising in military affairs on the basis of man's position and role, the reporter said, adding:

His love and trust in the army and people was a major ideological and moral source that encouraged them to the struggle for safeguarding the country. This was also the decisive guarantee for the victory in the war.

Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, and other speakers said that the Korean people's brilliant victory in the Fatherland Liberation War was thanks to the President's distinguished military idea, commanding art and Juche-oriented war methods.

This victory showed that any country is fully capable of defeating the formidable imperialism if all the people get closely united under the guidance of the great leader, they stressed.
