Day of Korean People's Victory in Fatherland Liberation War Marked in DR Congo
Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- The Democratic Republic Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association on July 23 issued a bulletin on the 58th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The bulletin carried articles titled "Reply of Korea" and "Fighting way Korea did" with photos on the invincible might of the Korean People's Army, a panoramic view of Pyongyang and the disgraceful defeat of the U.S. in the Korean War.

President Kim Il Sung beat back the sudden invasion by the aggressors, went over to an immediate counter-attack to liberate Seoul, the citadel of the enemy, in just three days after the outbreak of war, thus breaking the precedent in the world history of wars, the articles said, adding: The President led the operation to liberate Taejon to victory, setting a brilliant example in the modern battle of encirclement.

He also taught the tunnel warfare, the aircraft hunting team movement, the tank hunting team movement and other superb military war methods suited to the characteristics of the modern warfare in the Fatherland Liberation War, working such miracle as defeating the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world, the articles noted.
