Election System Praised by Foreigners and Overseas Koreans
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Foreign guests and overseas Koreans visited various polling stations in Pyongyang on July 24 when the election of deputies to provincial, city and county people's assemblies was underway.

They visited the polling stations of Sub-constituency No. 126 of Constituency No. 46, Sub-constituency No. 93 of Constituency No. 57 and Sub-constituency No. 88 of Constituency No. 87 and other polling stations in Pyongyang and were deeply moved to see the electors full of enthusiasm to consolidate the revolutionary power as firm as a rock.

Setsuko Kuwahata, head of the delegation of the Japanese Women's Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that she was admired to see the electors dancing and singing at the festively decorated polling stations.

Common workers are being chosen as deputies to power organs at various levels, she noted, adding this is a proof of the advantages of the election system in the DPRK.

Hiroshi Minamishima, professor at Joshibi University of Art and Design, said that every person faithful to the people has the right to be elected in the DPRK.

Wim van der Bijl from Netherlands noted his visit to the polling station helped him know better about the reality of the DPRK.

Glyn Ford, member of the National Policy Forum of the British Labor Party, said it was exciting to see the atmosphere at the polling station alive with pleasant dances.
