Measures Urged to Clean Irradiated Korean School in Japan
Tokyo, July 24 (KNS-KCNA) -- Korean Primary and Secondary School in Fukushima, Japan, urged the prefecture administration to pay for cleaning the school campus contaminated by radioactivity.

Representatives of the school education society and students' parents called at the office of the prefecture on July 8 to submit a letter containing their demand to the governor.

The letter explained the actual situation of the school polluted by radioactivity leaked from the Fukushima Atomic Power Plant.

Students of the school, severely damaged by the earthquake and tidal flood, are now studying at Niigata Primary and Secondary School, while their parents are restoring the damaged and irradiated school, the letter said.

The letter urged the prefecture administration to take equal measures for the Korean school with Japanese schools in eliminating radioactive contamination.
