Peru's President Rejects U.S. Blockade of Cuba

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Peruvian President Ollanta Humala voiced his disagreement with the almost 50-year U.S. economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba. He said this in a speech during his visit to Cuba on July 19.

The blockade has inflicted unspeakable pain to the Cuban people and lots of economic losses to Cuba, he noted.

"It is shameful that this type of situation exists in the 21st century,"

Humala said, demanding the U.S. administration repeal at once the anti-Cuba blockade step.
