In the work Kim Jong Il gave a comprehensive and scientific exposition of the issues arising in putting an end to the national division and reunifying the country.

He formulated the three principles of national reunification, the ten-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo, advanced by President Kim Il Sung, as the three charters for Korea's reunification.

The desire of all Koreans for reunification will be achieved when they thoroughly preserve and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, embodiment of the three charters of national reunification.

We extend full support and solidarity to the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people in their just struggle to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.
