Day of Victory in War Marked in Nigeria, Ukraine
Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries on the 58th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War. They included an opening ceremony of a DPRK photo exhibition week in Nigeria on July 12 and a film show in Ukraine on July 14.

On display in the venue of the photo exhibition were photos on the Songun leadership feats of general secretary Kim Jong Il and photos introducing the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK and the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Memorial Tower.

The participants of the film show watched the Korean film "The Arch of Triumph."

The director of the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria said July 27 is a day when the army and people of the DPRK won the victory in the war under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung by defeating the U.S. imperialists who ignited the war of aggression. This day is a symbol of victory for the Korean people whereas it is a symbol of disgrace to the U.S. imperialists, he added.

The director of a company of Ukraine noted that the President defeated two imperialisms in one generation, projecting the Korean people as the most dignified people in the world.

The President is so deeply revered and is always remembered by the Korean people for his great feats, he stressed.
