S. Korean Police's Repressive Action against Participants in Candlelight Actions under Fire
Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- The south Korean police took such a repressive step as issuing summons to more than 200 students and citizens who participated in the candlelight actions for the settlement of registration fee issue to appear in the police station, the south Korean Kyunghyang Daily News said on July 16.

This action was taken on the strength of the evil laws including the "Law on Assembly and Demonstration". The police threatened to arrest them if they do not appear in the police station.

In this regard members of the Registration Fee Network and other organizations and students declared they would resolutely struggle against the base moves of the fascist police to weaken the candlelight actions.
