Russia Sends Satellite into Orbit

| Moscow, July 18 (KCNA) -- Russia successfully launched a carrier rocket Proton-M on July 16. The rocket, launched from the Baikonur Space Center in Kazakhstan, carried a Kazakh satellite KazSat-2 into orbit. The mission of the satellite with a 12-year serviceable life is to provide television and broadcast services for Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries, as well as central Russia. |
