Rodong Sinmun Marks Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Work
Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Monday dedicates an article to the 25th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "On Some Problems of Education in the Juche Idea."

The work, published on July 15, 1986, fully proves the scientific accuracy and revolutionary nature of the Juche idea, the guiding idea of the Workers' Party of Korea, and its originality and universality. It also clarifies such important theoretical and practical issues as properly understanding the basic principle of the Party's ideological work and advantages of the socialist system.

The education in the Juche idea provides a sure guarantee for consolidating in every way the single-minded unity between the Party and the revolutionary ranks centered on the headquarters of the revolution. It also makes it possible for the army and people to firmly defend the Korean-style socialist system with transparent anti-imperialist class awareness in any circumstances, the article says, and goes on:

It serves as a main source of strength to give full play to the mental power of the popular masses in the effort for the building of a thriving nation.

All the people are fully displaying the spirit of devotedly defending the leader in the building of a thriving socialist country, greatly proud of having reelected Kim Jong Il to the top post of the Party and revolution.

Immensely high is the determination of all the servicepersons and people to safeguard the Korean-style socialist system of Juche at the risk of their lives.

There are no difficulties insurmountable and no fortress unconquerable for the people armed with the transparent idea that man is responsible for his own destiny and capable of hewing it out. This has been proved by the on-going drive for a great surge.

Korean-style socialism remains unshakable in any storm and stress when all the army and people are more firmly equipped with the Juche idea and thoroughly apply it to the revolution and construction, the article concludes.
