It was in February of 2002 that General Secretary Kim Jong Il provided field guidance to the Taehongdan Potato Processing Factory during which he praised her for devoting her all to supplying better foodstuffs to people while working at the factory for years.

She developed products of dozens of varieties needed for the development of the nation's biological engineering and successfully settled scientific and technological issues arising in producing nutritious processed potato products of Korean style. She performed distinguished merits in the work to study and develop drinks peculiar to the country.

In order to repay the leader's loving care, she is expanding her research achievements to contribute to improving the standard of people's living, keeping pace with him for the forced march.

She is now discharging her duty as a room chief of the branch academy.
