Bangladeshi Bulletin Marks Month of Anti-US Joint Struggle
Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- The Bangladeshi Group for the Study of the Songun Policy on July 12 issued a bulletin titled "Dialogue or Confrontation" to mark the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.

The article said:

The hostile relations between the DPRK and the U.S. have lasted for over half a century.

The U.S. imperialists ignited a war in June 1950 against the DPRK, which was less than two years old. This was a typical example of the U.S. moves to stifle the DPRK by force of arms.

Whenever opportunities presented themselves including the Pueblo case, EC-121 large spy plane case, the Panmunjom case and the nuclear crisis in the Korean Peninsula, the U.S. stood in confrontation with the DPRK by mobilizing armed forces for aggression including nuclear-powered aircraft carriers.

If a war breaks out in the Korean Peninsula where huge armed forces including nukes stand in acute confrontation, it will go over to a thermonuclear war that has never been experienced by humankind.

It is the consistent policy of the DPRK to replace the armistice agreement with a peace one, normalize the DPRK-U.S. relations and make the Korean Peninsula a nuclear-free peace zone through dialogue.

Had the U.S. abandoned its anachronistic confrontation policy, the hostile relations between the DPRK and the U.S. would have already been defused and the denuclearization of the peninsula smoothly realized.
