The meeting discussed the issues of holding diverse events to grandly commemorate the Day of the Sun in 2012 as a great jubilee in human history and intensifying activities to celebrate with splendor the February holiday by various forms and methods.

The preparatory committee stressed the need to orient all the events to highly praising the undying feats of Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and supporting the Korean people in their efforts to build a thriving nation.
