Former Pakistani Army Chief Urges Withdrawal of US Forces

| Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- Former Pakistani Army Chief Mirza Aslam Beg recently stated that the U.S. has no other option but to vacate Shamsi Air Base in Balochistan of Pakistan, an airport which was given to American forces for use after the September 11 incident. In an interview with a news agency he added that the Pakistani army with the support of the people would eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country. |
