More People Quit Smoking in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 15 (KCNA) -- An increasing number of people are quitting smoking in the DPRK.

The Tobacco Substitutes Exhibition in Pyongyang is always crowded with people.

Many people who want to quit smoking go to the exhibition to have consultations with doctors and purchase tobacco substitutes.

The exhibition provides visitors with knowledge of tobacco's adverse effect on human body, families and society through videos and wall charts.

Among the goods on sale are no-tobacco pipes, nicotine filters, anti-smoking gum and pill. The pill won appreciation from the World Health Organization (WHO).

A few days after beginning to take the pill, the user feels no pleasure in smoking but have a good appetite. It also helps get rid of coughing and sputum.

The goods are also available for passive smokers suffering from a respiratory trouble.

Some of the visitors have succeeded in stopping smoking.
