S. Korean Police's Indiscriminate Suppression of Protestors
Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- The south Korean police on July 10 indiscriminately suppressed members of civic and public organizations for their protest actions against the unreasonable lay-off, the south Korean MBC reported.

That day more than 3,000 members of civic and public organizations held a rally around the Young Do Shipbuilding Yard of the Hanjin Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., demanding the management side cancel the lay-off.

The riot police fired water cannons and tear liquid at the protestors, leaving dozens of them wounded and walking off at least 40 others.
