Kim Il Sung Remembered in Bangladesh
Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- Bangladeshi newspapers gave special write-ups to the 17th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung from July 3 to 5.

Natun Bangla carried in its one whole page an article titled "Tribute to President Kim Il Sung" with a portrait of the smiling President.

It was the fixed determination of General Secretary Kim Jong Il to preserve the President in state, the article said, adding that the cause of perpetuating the memory of the President has been successfully realized in the DPRK under his guidance.

It further said:

Thanks to Kim Jong Il perfectly carrying to completion the cause of the President, the DPRK won victory in the grim struggle to defend socialism toward the end of the last century and adorned the first decade of the new century with signal achievements in building a thriving nation.

Ekota and Natun Katha carried articles telling about the undying feats of the President who devoted his all to the people's happiness, regarding it as his maxim to believe in people as in Heaven, and made great contributions to global independence under the banner of Juche.

Blits carried an article titled "Love for Future" with a photo of Kim Jong Il finding himself among children.

The article elaborated on the fact that Kim Jong Il has shown all kinds of solicitudes for the rising generation, true to the noble intention of the President.
