US "War on Terrorism" Termed War against Human Rights
Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- At least 20 academicians of the U.S. Brown University recently published a review of casualties caused by the U.S. administration's "war on terrorism" in various parts of the world.

According to it, total of 224,000 to 258,000 people lost their lives including 6,000 U.S. soldiers after the U.S. launched the "war on terrorism" following the September 11, 2001 incident.

The number of civilian deaths reached 172,000 among them including 125,000 Iraqis.

It is not certain whether this data is accurate or not but the number apparently reflects the people's repugnance against the "anti-terror war."

This war has been censured and rejected worldwide for its reckless and unethical nature.

A great number of young Americans met death and innocent civilians are being killed almost everyday in various countries by the U.S. forces' latest weapons.

Huge funds are being spent for the "anti-terror war" aimed at world domination and, consequently, not only the U.S. but also the rest of the world are suffering from a financial crisis.

The world, therefore, brands the "war on terrorism" fought by the U.S. for a decade as a war violating human rights and state-sponsored terrorism which wantonly violates the right to existence of the people and the right to development of countries.

The U.S. had better face up to the trend of the times and immediately stop the reactionary and brigandish "war on terrorism."
