Letter to Kim Jong Il from Guinean Juche Idea Followers
Pyongyang, July 9 (KCNA) -- The participants of the Guinean national seminar on the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, the founder of socialist Korea, sent a letter to General Secretary Kim Jong Il on June 25.

The letter said that Kim Il Sung successfully embodied the Juche idea, liberating the Korean nation from the colonial yoke of Japanese imperialism, founding the first people's democratic state in the east and developing the DPRK into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.

Kim Il Sung consolidated the gains of the revolution by leading the country and people and powerfully promoted the human cause of independence by wisely steering the liberation movement of the world oppressed people, the letter noted.

Noting that he brought about a leaping advance in the Non-aligned Movement, helping the world progressives cultivate the strength to carve out their destiny with responsibility, the letter stressed that he is always remembered by all people who love peace and justice as an outstanding great man of the 20th century.

The participants of the seminar highly lauded Kim Il Sung for performing immortal revolutionary exploits and leader Kim Jong Il for leading the DPRK to register great achievements under the banner of Songun, the letter said, and continued:

The Guinean Juche idea followers once again reiterated their firm pledge to deeply study the Juche idea, Songun idea and always take the lead in the activities to widely disseminate it.
