Russia to Defend Its Interests in North Pole: Putin

| Moscow, July 7 (KCNA) -- Russia will firmly defend the country's interests in the North Pole, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin declared this at a recent meeting. Russia will actively advance into the pole and develop the system for monitoring joint boundary infrastructure, meteorological observatories, nature and living resources there, he said. |
