Special Write-ups Praising Kim Il Sung Carried by Foreign Newspapers
Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- Foreign newspapers carried special write-ups on the 17th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

The July issue of the German paper Rote Fahne carried an article titled "President Kim Il Sung Revered by Korean People" with a photo of his statue on Mansu Hill.

The activities to celebrate the centenary of his birth as the great jubilee of human history are brisk worldwide, the article said.

The Guinean paper Horoya on July 1 devoted one whole page to an article titled "Respect to President Kim Il Sung" with a portrait of the smiling President.

The Kumsusan Assembly Hall has been spruced up as the Kumsusan Memorial Palace, the sacred temple of Juche, it added.

The Mexican paper Unidad Nacional on June 30 carried an article with his photo. It said that the President led the two revolutionary wars and the two stages of social revolution to victory. The paper praised his personality as a great man.

The Egyptian paper Al-Misaiya on July 2 edited an article on the undying feats he performed for global independence.

The Bangladeshi paper Blits on June 30 carried an article titled "DPRK Is Preserving Juche Character and National Character". The army and people of the DPRK are firmly maintaining the independent stand in the revolution and construction and carrying forward the national tradition, the article noted.
